About Jackson County Historical Commission

The Jackson County Historical Commission is a not-for-profit, governmental entity established by the Commissioner’s Court of Jackson County, Texas as authorized under Texas Government Code, Chapter 318.

Mission and Purpose:

The purpose of the Jackson County Historical Commission is to identify, document, preserve and promote historical assets and resources of Jackson County.
